Digital Technology Plays A Critical Role In Essay

Digital technology plays a critical role in everyday life, by providing information that cannot be collected in any other way. In other words, before the internet, Google, and the like, it was not possible for a person to quickly and easily access information from all over the world. Now, talking with people across the planet and finding out information on nearly anything can be done at the touch of a button. There are several key trends in the evolution of computers and digital technology, including voice to text, hands-free options, better graphics, and smaller computers with faster processors that can do much more than in the past. That is very important, because computers must continue to evolve. Users of computers are demanding more and more from the companies that make them, so it is vital that these companies continue to focus on what customers need and want. They need to keep their market share as strong as possible, and they can only do that by continuing to evolve and push boundaries.

3. The growth and evolution of the Internet is changing lives by allowing people to work with and connect with others all over the world. That is changing both work life and personal life for the better, in the vast majority of cases.

4. The information age differs from any time that came before it because there has never been a time in history where so much information and...

It has changed the dynamics of human relationships.
5. Information technology has a social and ethical impact on society, because it provides an opportunity for people from all over the world to get to know one another. That affects cultures and the way people look at themselves and the world around them.

Chapter 2:

1. Computers store and manipulate information through a central processing unit. This works by bringing in information from input devices and allowing it to be released through output devices. During the time the computer has the information, it can be adjusted, stored for later use, or changed and combined with something else to produce results.

2. The basic structure and organization of a computer is a CPU, input devices, output devices, and memory or storage. Information comes in through various devices, is processed by the CPU, and is either stored in memory or sent out through output devices. Computers can by desktop or laptop, or even something as small as a tablet or a phone. There are a number of computers that contain the basic structure and organization.

3. There are main internal components in a computer, including a motherboard, a central processor, memory, a cooling fan, a battery, transistors, and others. They interact…

3. A typical computer has different kinds of storage devices because information that is stored in a computer is not all the same. There are long-term storage needs, and there are also short-term needs when information has to be easily found and retrieved quickly, or might not be kept very long. For storage, there are also options such as USB and passport drives, where even more information can be backed up. These are great for long-term storage, because they can contain information that does not have to be on the main computer, but can be easily retrieved when it is necessary.

4. The components of a computer system fit together through a delicate balance of input and output information. That can be seen in the diagram below, which provides a simple way of showing how information comes into a computer, is either processed or stored, and is then sent back out through output devices.
